Kyrgyzstan stands as a democracy. Until the end of the 1990s, the government let the religious organizations settle down in Kyrgyzstan. Very popular Evangelist, Pentecost, Baptist and Reformist churches have been cropping up all over the place.
I spent Christmas celebrations with them in Bishkek in 2017.
